No, BJJ is legit. Royce Gracie defeated Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn who outweighed him by close to 100 lbs back in the day using nothing but BJJ. Royce wasn't a 130 lbs woman sized man like most Coli members (more like 6 foot 170), but still that's a hell of a testament to the effectiveness of grappling. It only stops working when both men can grapple. Look up Minowaman who routinely beats 280 lbs dudes who have size, but lack the skill.
You need shakes its the only weighMy problem right now is not being able to consistently hit my calorie target. I'm supposed to be consuming 2500 per day to gain 1 pound per week. But I stay around 2000 most days unless I worked out, that makes me hungrier.
It's about time for me to go to sleep and I'm still 500 calories short of my target. Somebody in the Gym subforum advised me to just shovel down some tablespoons of peanut butter at the end of the day to get over the line, so I'm about to head off and do that. How many tablespoons I need for 500 though?
