Mike Dunleavy Jr., has agreed to a three-year, $14.4 million deal with the Chicago Bulls, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

and what if teams arent wanting to hand those guys over to us for Taj Gibson coming off ANOTHER injury at age 30 ?
And what if they are but we just not making the calls? Or we unwilling to part with pieces to make the deals fair and we want to lopsided everyone? None of us know what's going on behind closed doors but the guys like kc johnson etc been telling us for years, these dudes not about the making the moves life. You telling me you think our assets are that unattractive?

If we end up still picking up a better wing and back up pg, then this means nothing.

But you can't blame bulls fans for being pessimistic and looking at this like the only moves that will be made outside of adding a vet min salary after all the bigger moves are made by everyone else, it is very possible no trade will be made and adding a vet at back up pg is all that will happen. That is pitiful.

We have the ability to sign one player outside our roster this summer, and it seems like it will be a legit backup PG

Ya'll are overreacting to this signing, unfortunately this is pretty much our team for the next couple years

We're about to have two max players at guard and an expensive frontcourt, ya'll laugh about internal development, but its exactly what this team needs right now

You could easily argue the biggest thing holding this team back is Rose not performing to his contract, not faulting him, but it doesnt help things much

over or under 55 win team?

I'm going over.

Best case scenerio, we can beat the Cavs. The best case scenerio is good health, a hungery/ consistent Rose, All-star Jimmy, 6th man of the year Doug, Improved Niko/ Snell, All-Rookie 2nd team Portis, DPOY Noah...

These dudes legit angry cuz the bulls arent out here signing free agents that are out their price range or trading injured 30 year olds for wilson chandler :mjlol:

Why would denver want noah or taj when they already have younger players at those positions. So who the bulls supposed to trade? Come up with some suggestions instead of complaining.

one last run right now we still the 2nd best team in the east; so we'll keep the bigs keep moderate minutes levels and see what happens at the trade deadline with taj or noah

If we can still make another signing then i'll lay off it but its gonna suck to see a younger more athletic wing player get a similar deal. I just dont see dunleavy as a starter anymore and we've got an inconsistent snell and inexperienced mcdermott behind him.

Over reaction can be said when we have a track record of getting things done. This team has shown they won't do shyt.

Internal growth is reserved for teams with quality talent, want to know why teams contending hit the free agency scene hard? Because players don't normally make the kind of leaps we need from our players to win it all. Mind you we just fired the coach who was turning lower draft picks into all stars. We have absolutely no idea if hoiberg has that kind of effect.

Rose is not lebron, nor durant. Him being mvp rose would still lead to us possibly getting back door swept if his supporting cast is still full of guys getting significant minutes but not producing much, it's not rose or jimmy, it's snell, mcdermott, noah, kirk, niko, brooks, taj and yeah at times dunleavy coming in and not making any major impact on the game in the same way a mozgov shump Jr delladova and tristan did. Igudola changed that finals series while curry played ok and klay had a mediocre finals. The spurs smoked miami because green mills dial etc had major impacts. That is how you win it all, not expecting rose to carry us past everyone. And not even expecting rose and jimmy to carry us past everyone.

I have a good feeling our offense will be better next year, but come playoff time who in the supporting cast can we bank on making that leap? Cause I don't see it.

mike not starting IMO it might be lin or stuckey (my preference the latter) at the combo guard spot behind our starters

Im not expecting Rose to carry the team breh, but we need him to be better than 18 & 5 with horrible %'s and questionable defense

We need jumps from Snell, Doug & Niko, they are all super young and have shown flashes (well not Doug, but he was a rookie and got hurt)

We need Noah not to be a useless 13 mil+ player

We need Hoiberg to be a a great coach with an innovative offense

Breh, these are the things that this team needs right now, as much as I wish for it too, there isnt a big market out there for Taj/Noah. I am just trying to live in the reality of the situation right now. This roster isnt jack shyt and it isnt past its prime

You laugh at the internal improvement shyt, buts its exactly what this team needs. We simply need Rose, Noah to regain something close to their forms, and Niko/Snell/Doug to develop

I'm not back and forth no more , yall clearly are turning to front office apologists. They can't sell me the "ain't nothing to do" bullshyt no more , not when I keep seeing other teams get quality upgrades for a little bit of nothing

All I will do is sit back, watch other teams make moves and point out how little it took to get these upgrades to they roster.
