If we some how could land wilson chandler via trade and picked up Stuckey :blessed:

That would be huge 'W' in the off season for this team ..

Reality is that is askin way to much from this FO :francis:

I still don't understand the reason to draft McDermott.. We passed up nurkic and a sevicable backup PG in this years draft - only to have to go and draft big again

( and in the end we will have to bring back dunleavy regardless ??? )

Last years draft looking like it handicapped us badly:scust:

I'd rather see the team give up Taj over Noah.

Start Niko and Gasol, and let

McDermott is unproven, Thibs barely played him and he was hurt for a portion of the year. I still am confident he will be fine.

Snell played very well when Jimmy went down and in the later portions of the year.

And Portis is a lottery talent, honestly I think he will pan out better than Taj. He's younger and has better offensive skill + is taller. Plus Taj has never been able to stretch the floor, something Portis should be able to do eventually given his success in the mid-range/3PT land in college.

I don't doubt McDermott could 'possibly' work out some what ..but not for what we have had to give up- we way overrated his worth ..Look at the facts :

we could have probably had a established 'player - wing' to assist us this past year if we traded those 'draft pick ' chips and went all in to compete this past season ' We were in a 'win now' mind frame weren't we ??

We have had to draft a 'big again' even though we could have kept nurkic to cover noahs failing body ( meaning we had to pass up a wing or PG in this years draft )

we will have to bring back Dunleavy as insurance for McDermott ( because as you said he is still unproven and coming off a injury ) so more $$$ being spent on covering the hole which is
McDermott

right now to me that pick has handicapped us for the coming year or years depending how quick it takes to McDermott to develop

jimmy could potentially risk $86M this season if he doesn't take the deal the bulls have offered him.

I know he could potentially get more as an UFA, but you're an idiot to risk generation wealth being offered you right now.

because your lifestyle as a cat with $90M guarunteed likely isn't much different than having potentially $120M in the future.
