Can't hand young players to a coach who historically shown he don't like playing them.
Front office and coach have to be on the same page.
If thibs would hire a offensive coach that he would let run that side of the ball I wouldn't mind thibs staying. But if you keep thibs you have to give him the roster he wants. Otherwise fire thibs and get the coach you know will want to coach the kind of roster gar pax wants. It can't be a divide in that.
But from last night, I think the thibs era over. It's clearly more than the offense. I think the players are tired of the hard practice the hardly any days off, and the defense being thibs only focal point.
Even if they get a offensive coach, if thibs going to play a line up at any moment with kirk and noah on the floor and won't play clearly better offensive players then it makes no sense for that.
I would think it would be easier to just hire a more complete offensive coach and just keep adrian griffen or another assistant who understood thibs defense and continue to implement it.
