I was reminded that it wasn't even just the 2 picks of the 17th pick and the pick we valued for years the bobcats pick

We gave up another 2nd rd pick and the contract to Anthony randloph.

Dude need to be dominating the summer league.

they played one game.You too cynical dude,bulls were the 29th or 30th ranked shooting team in 13-14 so they moved up and drafted the 1st or 2nd highest ranked shooter in the draft and he showed flashes when he played and looked lost like most rookies do(same with niko).This is the summer before his 2nd season give the dude a chance

I said last year he wasn't no starter and had my reservations but it's way too early to be saying the bulls fukked up drafting him

They played 2 games the 2nd was against toronto, one wasn't televised until late and I'll assume you didn't watch it. He looked horrible 1st half and had a little streak in the 2nd half. Meanwhile defensively he was getting consistently burned.

Again, if he was just selected with 1 pick like taj and jimmy was no one is saying anything. But he got a bag dropped for him. You don't do that unless you know you getting a starter at minimal. Not some role player who could be good in 3 years. Dumb ass bulls shouldn't be trying to draft damn rookies to fix the outside shooting any damn way. You trying to win a title , get nba ready players ready to go now. Otherwise quit the title talk and say we developing for the future.

I see how other squads and front offices move. These clowns not selling be dreams and hopes no more. They need to get on they shyt or they deserve all the criticism. Ya'll get pacified with mediocrity. shyt won't feel good when we going home in the 2nd rd ....again.

His development got pushed a year back cuz of thibs that's why I said 16-17.We'll see what happens

Bulls might be conservative as hell as far as trades but they can draft for the most part I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one

Thibs didn't turn Doug into a physically weak player (self admitted), and he didn't run him into the ground causing him to get surgery last year.... Thibs didn't push his development back... Doug can put the blame on himself for not being ready and the misfortunes of getting injured.

I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt by looking forward to 2016-17 if Doug continues to look suspect during THIS season. In reality, GarPax should be gone by then .

Yall gotta give McD more than a year before throwing him to the bushes, he killed it in summer league last year with Snell on the court this summer so far he played well game one and ok game two, this summer league roster don't have another playmaker to some of that attention off him aint nobody guarding vander blue


If Deng never would have got injured my man Jimmy would probably still be coming off the bench, lets see how the kid plays with rose and butler in Hoiberg's system before writing him off

butler certainly much more charismatic than rose. and now that he's an all star, he's gonna have a lot of off the court opportunities.

No. Expectations here, which is still a championship, wouldn't allow this team to simply be "Rose's or Jimmy's team". They're Siamese twins jointed at the hip at this point - the other goes as far as the other takes them within the confines of team oriented goals. Besides, they both have their own things to worry about before contemplating something trivial like this. Rose needs to stay healthy, and in turn, find that happy medium of still impacting games like he's capable of doing all the while not being too reckless out there with his play. Jimmy needs to prove that he's as hungry as ever now that he's max player, and go out & show that last year's ridiculous jump as a player, was no fluke.

And what kind of system is hoiberg planning to run ?

Hoiberg's system isn't conducive to benefiting just one player (look at that ball movement in that video) as is indicative of Iowa State having 6 players averaging double figures last year. There's going to be plenty to go around for everybody to eat .
