I wouldn't read too much of into this signing until we know if its guaranteed or not. I doubt it is. He'll make the training camp roster, maybe play some preseason games and then get cut :manny:

We spent two first round picks on this dude and there isn't a position in the league that he can guard.

With Noah looking washed, Rose being erratic, it's fukked up but our window depends on this dude not being a bust.

Those two firsts should've been the reload:snoop:
Especially how long we held on to that bobcat pick and refused to part with it.

Holding on to that pick for years literally, and then losing a potential noah replacement with nurkic, those 2 picks are supposed to at least land a clear all star imo. Not just a regular rotation player. If mcdermott does not become no more than just another role player, we look like a idiot not packaging that bobcat pick with another asset and landing a legit talent who could help us win it all now. We might as well had part with that pick in 2011 or 2012 to get another ball handler to help rose. All I saw was another guy looking like he will be okay in summer league but be no more than a bench player vs the real competition. That is not good.

Bruh, we basically just lost a series to a team playing without their 2nd and 3rd best players. When u consider how we stay missing on difference making free agents every time we got bread, while not knowing what we're going to get from our best players, I can damn near guarantee u our window about to shut. We'd have Noah's replacement & a wing already on the roster. Ready. Cavs got stronger while we did nothing. Our offseason move is hoping our lotto pick don't bust and bodybag the Rose era.:smh:

gotta be a typo if not:deadmanny:

The more I think about it, the more I think he's not factoring in the weight of the bar - He's probably talking about 25's on each side of the bar.... That still would be pretty damn pathetic (95 lbs). That amount of weight literally feels like you have nothing on your back....

I see females dropping it low at the gym like there's money to be had on the ground all the time with at least 45's on each side of the bar no prob :smh:.

Then he had the nerve to complain of soreness :snoop:.

Instead of writing mcdermott off as a bust why don't y'all wait to see how he plays in hoibergs system, with the starters and for a coach who won't bury him on the bench 1st :snoop:

Hoiberg coaching the summer league breh. That is hoiberg system.

This his 2nd season, he had a ton dropped for him, no excuse for him, he needs to start looking like a starter now.

:what: they played one game. You too cynical dude, bulls were the 29th or 30th ranked shooting team in 13-14 so they moved up and drafted the 1st or 2nd highest ranked shooter in the draft and he showed flashes when he played and looked lost like most rookies do(same with niko). This is the summer before his 2nd season give the dude a chance

I said last year he wasn't no starter and had my reservations but it's way too early to be saying the bulls fukked up drafting him

I wouldn't get my hopes up breh.

Yea, it really sounds like my hopes are sky high right now with an professional athlete who hasn't shown ANY explosion at this level, which honestly made sense because he was struggling to squat 50 pounds..... My optimism is just oozing through the text :reallybreh:. With that being said, that still doesn't mean the game can't slow down for him, and that what has been seen so far is all that the Bulls is going to get from him.... That's what I was talking about in that part of my post.

Your post makes sense with the exception of the bolded. I hope you're talking about last year and last year only that you thought he wasn't a starting caliber player. Otherwise, you don't reach and give up the assets the Bulls did to draft a player that you don't think will be a starter in this league.

I'm all for giving him a chance tho because in reality we're stuck with him and Nurkic and all of these other players the Bulls could've gotten with that other pick will not be walking through that door.

Yea that's what I meant he wasn't ready to be a starter over dunleavy jr last year.I think mcdermott will be ready to start in 16-17
