So with the league set up to help QBs put up bigger stats, you think a QB with good stats is more valuable than a RB having a historic season with one of the worst QBs in the league??

:mindblown:

Think about what you're typing before you hit send you fukkin chump. You're actually making a stronger argument for AD here.

my point is if the roles were reversed and the best qb in the league is playing with a bad rb he can win a super bowl its happened a few times the past few years

A great rb doesnt impact the game nearly as much as a great qb

In no way am i downplaying the year AD has had but in todays NFL where its clearly a QB league i cant give it to a back

A QB controls the game and can make or break your team a rb in todays NFL is not that important..teams now win super bowls with the worst running attack in the league

:aicmon:

He's having an outlier year from a position that isn't nearly as productive as it used to be. It's a QB driven league, but to do what he's doing with dogshyt at QB is remarkable.

I'd have no problem with him winning it.

That's just cause you're a reactionary fakkit. You were probably saying QBs weren't important when Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won Superbowls a few years apart. There's no set blueprint on how to win a Superbowl.

Btw.. If QB is as important as you say, that makes what AD is doing with a trash QB, single handedly having his team in the playoff hunt, even more impressive.

I agree with your second paragraph regarding Petersons season. But the Vikings have zero shot of winning the Super Bowl because of Ponder.

Patriots went back to a running game

Packers won the chip relying on the running game in the playoffs

Peyton relies on his running game heavy..

But the rb position doesn't matter :rudy:

Offensive player of the year is built for:wow: performances, only way an running back should get it its if there's no great QB play in the league in a particular year....or if he's that much greater than the great QBs that year.

yes because thinking Peyton should win the mvp and saying the rb psotion isnt that imporant anymore is so crazy:aicmon:
you are trolling

you are ignoring the situation that Peterson is in. He has a terrible QB beside him in the backfield. So terrible that AD's rushing yards are greater than Ponder's passing yards for the last 2 months of games.

You cannot make a blanket statement that RBs are not that important when its clearly the only reason why Minnesota is winning games and even in the playoff hunt.

So you are either trolling or a complete dumbass. Calling you a troll is giving you credit.

if we are going to be reality, this hasnt been an "out of this world" QB year.

As far as QB being important....Brandon Stokley leads the league in DVOA. That's insane.

I think its debatable i have no problem with either winning it.But i dont think the op saying Peyton should win or the rb position isnt nearly as impotant as the qb is some off the wall statement
