I make 6 figures in the navy. On April 1st i believe E4 and below get a 14% raise to adjust for inflation and a better pay scale for them. Also, majority get signing bonuses and reenlistment bonuses. Granted it depends on how long you been in dictates how much you getnpaid on that pay grade scale. But facts are the military aint like it used to be. Nobody be out here randomly yelling at ppl just bc its a Wednesday (anymore). shyt is a job. Facts are nikkas is lazy as shyt and dont wanna do nothing for themselves. Talking bout waking up early shut tf up. I go to work at 9 every morning lmao while im not on deployments

Going into military service ain't for everyone, but it 100 percent can give u a headstart. I went straight in after high school did 8 yrs was out by the age of 26. Was able to afford to stay in beautiful San Diego after my EAS, got paid to go to school, was clearing about 3gs a month in 2005 -06 just off the new G.I bill, plus another 12k a year for life because I had foot surgery and it left a scar. Bought a house with no money down due to my VA loan. That house is worth damn near a million dollars right now and I bought for 200k in 2011. I'm a strong advocate for the military and not on no "I love the USA" shyt, the Military broke a cycle for me and my family. It provided all the resources to make me who I am today.
Agreed, especially for young Black kids trying to figure it out it can be a smart choice.

Random question for you and other veterans on here, if Trump declares martial law and orders the Military to shoot at American citizens, how high is the likelihood of a split within the armed forces? Especially given how many covert white supremacists are in the military?

It will definitely be a split, most ppl I served with and who I know who are currently serving, are not there on no "Patriotic" shyt. I'd even go so far to say most ppl are there for the benefits. Especially the brothers, so a lot of folks would put down their weapons straight up. The ppl who you'd have to worry about are the white boys from little "podunk" towns and Mexicans. The Mexicans be on some "Proud to be an American"shyt harder than the white boys in the military. Especially the "Texican Mexicans", the ones from Cali don't be as Patriotic as all the others but it's still some though. Best thing to do so you are not in violation of a direct order ina "combat environment" is just fire your weapon at objects. Because they can justify killing you right there if you disobey in those situations.

If we're being honest, most people in the Military aren't as patriotic as they claim to be.... Even them "Proud To Be an American" types aint purposely waiting outside to salute for colors.

Texas Mexicans in the Military are the equivalent of South Florida Cubans/Venezuelans

But FWIW, that's not a lawful order ( and wouldn't be under nearly any circumstance unless you're getting fired at)...and even following through with it in that manner will still have you and whoever gave/followed said order at Court Martial hoping all that happens is they get sent to Leavenworth.
