Nicca I used to do taxes for Scotia Trust and even we had contact with the IRS on a regular basis. Probably 60% of the time when Canadians check that box on their tax form "do you own property worth more than $100 000 in a foreign Country" its usually in the U.S.

I'm not sayin you could look up folks on a regular basis cause I'm sure they've warned you about that....but I'm sure you could do it every once in while.
