Kevin Kelly really stepped it up, and I hated him on commentary in the past.
Instead of cheap Ring of Honor shoutouts, he's helping frame the matches well.

Damn, so Omega/Suzuki is passable?
Night 1 has an avalanche piledriver. Night 2 has an avalanche ace crusher to the floor. I'm expecting Ibushi to do a phoenix splash from the roof in the finals.
Granted, both were done as safely as you can do such things, but still. It's setting up a bad prescient of crazier spots each night. Kenny actually doing real selling (for a bit, at least) and a set up of a tourney long injury is an interesting twist. Maybe a good way to have an excuse for him not killing himself in every match. Big Match Kenny 2017 vs MiSu 2015 and before could have been so baller. Father time is undefeated. He feels and moves old, needs extra fukkery to keep his matches going now.
