It’s crazy to see the same type of hate that consumed Eric Holder take a hold on people in this forum. The man was stolen from his loved ones and fans a few days ago and nikkas can’t take seeing the outpouring of love so they make posts attacking Nips’s mourners and and attempt to minimize Hussle’s impact. Even if you think people are putting extras on how this affected them (a lot are), so what? What about seeing someone get love be it real or fake makes you feel the need to speak against it and him?

It’s sad that there’s so many shytty Cuzz ass nikkas in the world. Disgusting sucker shyt.
You can literally see the jealousy oozing from a lot of the disrespectful posts in here

Clown and c00nish to disrespect malcolm like that. Malcom was a street guy in his teens and left it alone after he went to jail and converted to Islam. Nipsey was 30+ year old active gang member. He was not transitioning. He showed no plans on leaving the gang life. He was perpetuating the same cycle of violence that took his life.
wait...what street shyt was nispey still doing?

running legitimate businesses and working with the local government to curb gang violence = perpetuating the cycle of violence?

you must not be from LA..

Nipsey was repping 60's but he wasnt banging....

Those who have experience in the culture understand the difference.

Doesn't mean he was out here harming people. His goal was to use gangs as a way to improve a community, not destroy it.

Please, as someone who has never been part of a gang, tell us what you've done more for a community than Nipsey?

Just heard on the news that the dude that killed him actually walked up to him and had several conversations with Nipsey prior that day.

He truly felt comfortable and protected in his community, thinking no one would try that dumb shyt.

What did the suspect do it for clout or some shyt?! Like I killed one of the most well known LA rappers! smh

What a damn shame.

G(angster)-checking someone for being a snitch is G(ang) activity, and is a perpetuation of violence. Cause if you tell a guy he’s not welcome in this neighborhood due to his snitching ways, and he decides to not leave then you are in effect threatening violence. Cause if he doesn’t leave, then presumably you must do something to make him leave.

Nipsey may not have been actively banging, but he also wasn’t simply a business owner.

I agree he was an overall force of good in his community, but he never even pretended to be that far removed from the gang life. He was always truthful about his roll in it and where that life leads most people.

It’s a sad story, but I think people should learn from both his words and his actions.

1. you don't even have a verified account of the actual incident... so you're going off social media because you definitely dont have ears in LA

2. he wasnt simply a business owner in the same way malcolm X wasn't simply a public speaker

just admit that you not from LA. Don't really know anything that happened other than rumurs you hear on social media. And you have no insight into his actual current involvement in 60's

I don't get why it's so hard for people to stand down and not assume

Well obviously I’m going off what was reported to have happened.

If the reports are wrong then we really have nothing to talk about here.

The reports are from people actually standing there giving their account of what happened.

Beyond any of that Nipsey never pretended in his music or real life(slapping nikkas for parking spots) that he was that far removed from his gang life.

I’m not “assuming” anything. Everything I said was based off real verifiable info.

To say I am a fan of him and what he stood for would be an understatement.

(So much so that I got calls from my friends and family when victory lap dropped, and when news of his death came out as if he was my personal homie all the way in Ohio)

So my words don’t come from hate, but from love. Because again Nipsey was very real about the life he lead, and I think it’s a disservice to his legacy for people to be blaming the”Illuminati” or “not leaving the hood” for his death.

He lead a life that he knew was dangerous and tried to spread good within it. And I think that’s commendable and inspiring.

1. Source of the "reports"?

2. name the people who were standing there giving their account.... source?

3. the slap he gave dude had nothing to do with gang banging

4. show me the source for your info...and please don't let it be speculation, gossip sites or social media

5. he led a life in the past that was dangerous... he wasn't involved in illegal activity/gang banging currently...

you are speaking like somebody who doesn't know what is going on in the LA scene...

that scene in the beginning of black panther with the Wakanda nikka being an undercover missionary in an LA gang. That is Nip in real life.
It sounds nuts but this was so carefully measured man from the jump

The more I think about it everything bruh was doing was carefully planned out from the Malcolm X chain to linkin up wit Dave East to the shop itself bruh really was tryna change the game

1. It’s all in this thread. Again if it’s untrue then it is, but from what I’ve gathered it was the first and most corroborated account of what happened.

2. Again read this thread and all the news accounts of what happened. Have you gathered a better/different account of what happened? Post it

3. The slap showed he was a guy that was willing to enact violence to get his point across.

4. Read 1 and 2 then read the actual police reports.

5. I never said he was
