Nah fam Big and Pac had nikkas mad hurt. I lived it breh

that big & pac shyt was big, I was a teenager when they both died

this one hit me harder tho cuz I'm older and been fukkin with Nip since 2009, its been amazing to see where he came from bullets aint got no names to grammy noms, forbes, buying blocks in LA and owning his masters

as a teen I was sad big and pac guys got killed but I wasnt as mentally/emotionally mature as I am now

this shyt got me still choking up when I talk about it with people. I don't wanna compare the size of losses, but for LA and beyond, this shyt really hurts

This shyt is tragic

Sucks that some people gotta die to be truly appreciated

Just confirms to me that pac was exalted (and rightfully so) when he died

Cuz I don’t remember people praising him in the way (I’m sure some people did though) they did after he died

I was one of those people that slept on pac but I was young when he died

After he died I started listening to his music and then reading and watching his interviews and realized dude was special

I got that feeling every time I would hear nipsey speak

This was a special brother

sad that society was robbed of him

you came just denounce something you and your family was raised under.
I hear you to an extent but we will never move forward as a people if we cling on to this shyt even as successful millionaires. If this really is a case of the dude just strolling through the spot and nip and his boys start humiliating him due to his past then that's something that could of been completely avoided.

There was no youtube, instagram, twitter..etc.. in '96. That's part of the reason there was none of that initial feedback.

But it doesn't really matter, there's no real reason to compare tragedies. It is always disheartening seeing a good dude killed over bullshyt, especially after seeing the positive impact he had on the community.

Social media was not popping then.
I say Pacs would have had a bigger impact if it was, you all forget Pac transcended race.
They folks my age and younger who didn't know who Nip was.:yeshrug:
Hell my cousin came through thinking he was someone from the city everyone was sharing on Facebook at first.:snoop:
