No I'm not dimissing his impact, just letting the breh know when he said the impact pacs and bigs death seemed fake is wrong. That impact u feel in La is how pacs death was in almost every state. This different for ppl in LA tho.. even tho Pac was mad loved in LA and basically embraced as the king of LA, he wasn't from here. For every rapper on the west coast this was someone who was born and raised here, lived and did business here, and was murdered here. It hits way deeper.
There was no youtube, instagram, twitter..etc.. in '96. That's part of the reason there was none of that initial feedback.
But it doesn't really matter, there's no real reason to compare tragedies. It is always disheartening seeing a good dude killed over bullshyt, especially after seeing the positive impact he had on the community.
Social media was not popping then.
I say Pacs would have had a bigger impact if it was, you all forget Pac transcended race.
They folks my age and younger who didn't know who Nip was.
Hell my cousin came through thinking he was someone from the city everyone was sharing on Facebook at first.
Nah I’m saying people didn’t praise pac before he died the way they did after he died
And it seems like the same thing with nipsey
But that’s the way it goes I guess
One thing Im happy with though is all the work and things nipsey was doing for his community and the kids are in the spotlight. fukk music, He took it WAY further than pac when it comes to the people IMHO.
Real leadership
You guys fail to realize pac was only 25.
