This different for ppl in LA tho.. even tho Pac was mad loved in LA and basically embraced as the king of LA, he wasn't from here. For every rapper on the west coast this was someone who was born and raised here, lived and did business here, and was murdered here. It hits way deeper.
No I'm not dimissing his impact, just letting the breh know when he said the impact pacs and bigs death seemed fake is wrong. That impact u feel in La is how pacs death was in almost every state.

There was no youtube, instagram, twitter..etc.. in '96. That's part of the reason there was none of that initial feedback.

But it doesn't really matter, there's no real reason to compare tragedies. It is always disheartening seeing a good dude killed over bullshyt, especially after seeing the positive impact he had on the community.

Social media was not popping then.
I say Pacs would have had a bigger impact if it was, you all forget Pac transcended race.
They folks my age and younger who didn't know who Nip was.:yeshrug:
Hell my cousin came through thinking he was someone from the city everyone was sharing on Facebook at first.:snoop:

Nah I’m saying people didn’t praise pac before he died the way they did after he died

And it seems like the same thing with nipsey

But that’s the way it goes I guess

I'm assuming 0 means the dudes he ran with and not his blood relatives when he says family.

I thought that press conference was heavy, but TI referencing the Mafia and Sammy The Bull is comedically off base and not appropriate, personally speaking. Our culture? What is he talking about? This was a personal dispute with someone who had very little to lose, and some time behind a trigger, (if I was guessing), that is all there is to it. Honestly, very similar to 2Pac, except Pac was in the fast lane speeding, and Nip had slowed way down.

I shed real tears for a stranger the other day. I can't listen to Crenshaw or Victory Lap without my eyes feeling like they're about to sweat. I can't even say Rest in Peace, because Nip had so much more to do for himself and the community. Dude wasn't looking to rest, he was on his grind. He just was starting to see the fruits of his labor. This shyt fukking hurts. I remember Big and Pac passing. This hurts more. I was a youngin when they left. I looked up to them. Nip was only a few months older than me. I didn't look up to dude, I understood dude. I wanted to lead by his example. With that said, fukk this sadness I'm feeling. I hope all you brehs hit up the people you love and let them know that shyt. More importantly, be a mentor. Try to lead these kids towards positivity. No one is looking out for us, but us. Help Nipsey Hussle live on through your actions. Bless up:mjcry:

One thing Im happy with though is all the work and things nipsey was doing for his community and the kids are in the spotlight. fukk music, He took it WAY further than pac when it comes to the people IMHO.

Real leadership

You guys fail to realize pac was only 25.

You right, I forget sometimes. Not that I should be comparing though, that would be wrong. Just seems like he was the next continuation of the same school of thought.

I hope we get to see someone take that thought further. Even if it takes another generation.
