Now I don't want your love
it's not why I make music
I owe myself, I told myself back then that I would do this
and I always look so out of reach
it just seems so confusing
that I felt my place in life
a young black man its seems so useless
that I don't want no help
just let me suffer through this
The world would not know Jesus Christ if there was never Judas
this knife thats in my back
will be the the truth that introduced us

and the distance in between us
its the proof of my conclusion
so life is what you make it
I hope you make a movement
hope your opportunity survives the opportunist
hoping as you walk across the sand you see my shoeprint
and you follow, til it change your life, it's all evolution
and I hope you find your passion, 'coz I found mine in this music
but I hope it's not material cause that's all an illusion
and they all in collusion
this racist institutions double standard
acting like they not the reason why we ruthless

I would absolutely put Nipsey in the same space as someone like Pac, for the generation hes from he is their 2Pac for a lot of people. Theres a lot of similarities between the two of them in and outside of the music. Nipsey was well on his way to becoming a real leader, and affecting real tangible change. He promoted the same types of ideology Pac did, and clearly had a love for humanity the way Pac did and wanted to affect the world in a positive way.
he invested more money in the hood then. Tho tbf pac had less money(death rows money managing and everything) either way both were Brothas who cared for Black people
