Its crazy that no one is talking about this game, but From Software games be doing numbers. I guess people are loyal to them.

idk if its harder or they just put more yokai everywhere to make it seem harder...one on one fight against anything can deplete all your shyt...i feel like the hatchets are weak as fukk...i gotta go on gamefaqs for more in depth discussions cuz this thread is dead
Spear been putting work for me. Game is fun but def tougher in certain aspects.
Those lil goblin yokai can cannibalize one another and level up and fukk your whole shyt up

yep any enemy can flash KO ya ass if u dont come corret...you gotta seperate em and fight 1 v1 sometimes yull have to create some distance to replenish your kai and go back in.....you can also fuse yokai soul cores with weapons to raise their level...cus this soul matching shyt costs too much moneySpear been putting work for me. anyway what weapon load out you rocking with Keef? The spear has been clutch for me, poking and smashing yokai from a safe distance, my secondary is the tonfas. It allows me to get in and do damage without draining all my damn ki. Also the Axe been holding me down.

kusarigami (i used that in nioh 1) and the hatchets (cuz u can charge them up and cheese throw them) oh yea u can also cheese help from the blue graves to deal with revenants so u can get better armor (and i think they drop yokai soul cores too so u can fuse your weapon with higher level soul cores so u dont have to waste gold to soul match)yeah they gotta do something about the economy breh. i beat all bosses so far without help of the AI all you gotta do is when he goes into the dark realm and run around that pillar until he phases out of it and whenever he big swings just roll to the left or right then go in on his ass....the yokai shift helps get rid of big yokai's ki faster including boss yokaim..basically what you want to do is get their ki down to stunlock em...also if u havent yet put points into magic so you can lace your weapon with fire etc...also check the beastiary so u can see what the yokai are weak toI summoned some of those blue fakkits against that Bullheaded a$$hole, them blue fairies were useless

Just ran into the first mission that was legit kicking my ass. It’s a side mission, The Butterfly and the Viper. They do some foul shyt. Took me forever to beat it.
So far there’s only been one boss that really seemed tough to me, and he was in a side mission too. Can’t remember the name of it, but it’s pretty cool, cause there’s two helpers for you to choose from, and the one you pick dictates what kind of enemies you face (human or Yokai). Did it twice, and the tough boss is in the Yokai version. He’s got a Kusa. I don’t know what it is about that weapon, but it kicks my ass for some reason.
Oh, and bosses will drop weapon skills too (think Jin’s Izuna Drop from the first game). I got a Kusa skill from the aforementioned boss. Sucks, as I won’t use that weapon other than to get the mystic art for Plat. Jut another thing to look out for.
