This is easily one of my favorite games this gen. The story is dope especially because i like how Team Ninja weaved in Japanese history with the Yokai. The combat and gear system is perfect to me. It’s not convoluted or a mess. It all flows together very well. And the builds

I’m using switchglaive and the axe my first run, so high magic and stamina focused character. The other weapons I see other players using gets me hyped to try different builds

Those are my main two weapons with a side of the Odachi. I focus on stamina and constitution.

switchglave and odachi for me. that glave is one of the faster weapons in the game once you get comfortable with it. and the odachi gives you power, range, and surprising speed once it starts swapping stances mid-combo.

when you start a combo in high-stance, it ends in low with you swinging at the knees (below the guard), then you ki pulse and start a new combo in low stance that ends with an overhead slash back to high stance.

Only really put points in constitution to equip better armour else I woulda left that shyt at 5

Use Dual Swords low stance almost exclusively. Light armour. Alot of dodging and the occasional timely block. She fukkin flies around the screen

Use the Ninjutsu alot. Kunai, hemlock broth, power pill, shrapnel bomb, those feather joints. Guns and bows also.

Props on beating the game with a ninja build. One of the great things about Nioh 2 is it allows you to build a character based on your playstyle. For me it's heavy armor and heavy weapons in mid and high stance and a huge emphasis on toughness to power through being hit. Also used the spell to be able to endure even more hits for boss fights and fast stamina recovery.

Beat that thunder beasts ass and knocked it out yesterday. Got to that weak ass centipede...might take it down tonight. Fallout 4 took a lil of my time today.

Keep dying to poison & impatience. Lol

Still haven't touched dmc5 too much. Got to stage 3 n went back to Nioh.

It’s even worse if you don’t clear out the poison pools in the room before fighting it.

The snake gave me fits when I first came across him, but like the poster above said, CLEAR OUT THE POISON POOL!!!!!
It WILL make the fight easier and if you want, bring in some help to help divert his attention.
