Mario 1 through Mario Galaxy 2 all were different enough. Hell Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 is different enough with each other. Mario Galaxy 2 had some piff ass new powers.

On Metacritic there are 193 Wii titles from scores of 97-75. Fukk 40 of them are must play. That's at least 10 good games a year for 4 years if you discount the hundreds of other games.
fukking piff games is nothing to shake a stick at?? The problem is a lot of these games are overlooked and overshadowed by oversaturated FPS and dudebro games.
Now imagine these amount of games in at least HD quality with a more conservative controller AND more third party support, you have a good console.

All everybody play on PS3/360 is dumb multiplatform games like BF3, Sports, fighting and some arcade games. The so called HEAVY hitters aren't even popular like that no more. Take Gears 3 for example. Crazy ass game and it fell the fukk off the top played XBL games. Top games on XBL are COD games.
Smash bros, Mario Kart, Zelda are BETTER than these gamesnaysayers.
Come on Batman, EA games, ME3, NBA 2k13, that's a good start.

Problem with Nintendo consoles is what are you gonna play after you get your Mario, Zelda, and Smash Brothers? Ever since the Gamecube they have been plagued with long stretches where they dont release shyt regular gamers would want to play.

I played Smash Bros Melee from December 2001 to March 2008 almost everyday till Brawl dropped. If brawl had a competent online and HD graphics I'd still be rocking it. I'm a SERIOUS smash bros head. I'm not these gamers that talk about a game and a month later be on netflix or watching videos.

Ok 1 game may be enough to hold you down but a lot of us want more than that.
I havent seen a single thing from Nintendo that makes me want to drop 300 bucks on their console. They have to prove to me they can get 3rd party games consistently, have an online system that isnt complete garbage, and step the level of their 1st party games up. Yeah, both Wii Zeldas were wack, that last Metroid was ass, tripping alone damn near ruined Brawl, Kirby had enough difficulty for a 4 year old, etc......
I'm dead serious I'm copping it. Hell I copped a xbox and its the worst system out.
