This. This is the main thing keeping me from playing Tears of the Kingdom. I just can't play at dynamic 900p 30 fps in 2023. I was hoping they'd have a hardware update I could purchase by now smh.

I’m at a point where I’d even take a higher resolution over a higher framerate right now. The fuzziness is bothering me more than the frames (which still aren’t goog when using powers)

Wish Nintendo would allow download able themes in the Nintendo store, but I'm not too bummed about it.

After I went oled with ps5 it became eye straining looking at switch games.
Its just too poverty, at the very least the framerates should be stable.

I’m in the same boat. I figure they gotta do some kind of GotY edition for TotK when the next system drops, or least make it backwards compatible with better performance. When it does that’ll be the first game I play on it

Once the series went on handheld 2 decades ago, the series really blew up and went from there.

yea. this one in particular blew because newcomers figured out how to cheese it by begging for handouts everywhere

ruined the game if you ask me

not to mention it was the essentially only thing smoking when the quarantine was in full effect

I had it on my old account…never used it…didn’t bother getting it with this account since I seldom use my switch…all the “free” games they offer online I can play on an emulator…look at the games they offer and see if they appeal to you…also I barely played online even tho I had mario kart, smash bros. and splatoon…if you plan on playing a lot of multiplayer games and you like the free games you can play online then it may be worth it to you especially if it’s still only $20/yr
