I believe they confirmed it isn't gonna have any revisions, just peripherals like the Labo.
They never said they weren't doing a revision, just that they wanted to focus on accessories to extend the life of the Switch. Probably cause they're making a ton on them
Nintendo has done revisions for every handheld they've made since Gameboy. They'll do one here too. There was already evidence of a revision found in a data mine

Nothing that I see so far on youtube videos. It looks like Nintendo just decided to charge a crazy premium for it. shyt is damn near the cost of 2x Dualshock 4 controllers

Breh the controller is good, it feels right and the joysticks aint fukking up.

Worth the 20 dollars, i saw it for cheaper on ebay.

There will be a revision but not like u think. I think its more for security purposes. Anything more wont be for a while. U gotta understand even tho its a handheld its a home console too. So it wont be the same type of thing as the 3DS.

Does it have the gyro and rumble? Cause alot of these kinda controllers are missing those 2 features.
Yes it has gyro and rumble. I just ordered it and I have a pro controller so I'll give an honest comparison. Should be here Fri or sat .

This shyt is apparently just as good as the expensive nintendo pro controller:

NEW Wireless Pro Controller Gamepad Joypad Remote for Nintendo Switch Console | eBay

For $20 I am giving it a shot.

Report back on it, im interested

Finally broke down and picked up bomberman. Can somebody explain how special abilities are managed to me?

Damn,I just ordered two new third party controllers off amazon today. Wish I had seen this. The ones I got had really good reviews but don't have gyro functions like these ones do.

These are the ones I got for reference. I'll drop my impression of them once they arrive today

Theres no way that its "as good as" a pro controller for $20 :comeon:

Those $20 wireless controllers are comparable to the pro controllers. Battery life is pretty good and it’s way better than buying a PS4/Xbox converter cable

Nothing bad about? The D-pad the joysticks? Disconnections?

It’s the most comfortable controller I’ve ever had. The weekend I got the controller, I played the switch more than I ever did.

Do you have the Nintendo pro controller and the $20 one?

I'm not feeling as if there is a good comparison between the two products and since youtube ain't doing it and I have the Nintendo pro controller I just ordered the $20 one and I'll see what it's about.

The $30 ones I got from Amazon work and feel great. They don't feel as robust as my BIL's Pro model, nor do they have gyro, but if I need gyro, I still have a few sets of joy cons I can use. Playing street fighter, I'm still having a slight problem doing fireballs on these new controllers, but it's the same issue I was having with the joy cons. So it may be a software issue on capcom's side, but it might be something to consider. I'll try and test my BIL pro, if I can remember to. I bought the switch mainly for party and casual gaming, so the $50 premium of the pro wouldn't be worth it to me. These are just some extra sticks to have around to me. Though expensive, I think the pro is still worth it will be your primary, and if you're trying to seriously game with it. However, if these had gyro, I'd be much harder pressed to recommend one over the other.

Aight-- so here are the differences,

The $20 controller is smooth, like plastic smooth. It can be slippery especially in games like mario where you'll let go of one hand and flick your wrist. The pro controller has somewhat of a grip on it, therefore it's more likely to stay in your hands. The L and R button click. It has an audible click/snap noise when you push the button. So while your spouse is laying in bed, and your playing mario or zelda, that clicking and shyt is likely make someone mad. The pro controller doesnt make any noise.

I'll probably have to do a hand holding tutorial to show what I mean. but with the pro controller is ergonomically designed where if you just rest your hands, your fingers fall where the buttons lay. the L and R trigger buttons are easy to access and able to be pressed with precision. I dont mash buttons. Fighting games, mario..I hit the buttons like a piano player, hitting the keys correctly. Whether its a long press, short tap, have to hold something down and press another. The ZL and ZR have a very long throw. Its a deep ass button. I dont know if theres any games where you have to short tap or long press the ZL or ZR but god damn it has some play in it, mad wiggle room.

The analog sticks are nice, and I like the d-pad.

$20 is a gamble, especially if you like comfort. I'll have to make a longer video showing the ergo-set up of this controller. The triggers are tough, thats where they fukked up. For $20 i'll let the kids play with it, but they are probably wise enough to continue using the pro controller.

I dont believe this controller will be your friend come smash time, or for street fighter, anything that requires real precision, however it may be better than the joycons.

I say if you have a 50% off coupon on ebay or amazon, get it for $10

Oh yea, the charging cord and port are completely different. its not usb-c and its not micro usb like android phones...its kind of weird.

the pro controller has a nice weight to it, the $20 has no significance.
