For what it's worth, there's a Fortnite knockoff coming to the Switch, looks early as fukk but yeah.:ehh:

Better hope they get it out before the real Fortnite comes to the Switch.

been playing Arms for the first time this weekend

I'm surprised nintendo actually released this as a full price game :what:

the gameplay while fun has little depth for a competitive fighting game
and come on nintendo how do you make a fighting game and not have a way to map your buttons:dahell_katt:

The game itself is cool and I like majority of these characters but I can't see myself coppin this unless I find a copy at $20 or less

Hopefully in the sequel they add more to the gameplay , more singleplayer modes, and a story campaign of some sort

You can map your buttons in the full version
The gameplay is deep at higher levels but it's a defensive game. Timing blocks and dodges rules in high level play

Was it the global test punch? Because you can change the controls apparently. And there is depth in rank mode. There's some serious players there. I think the demo only has party battles.

it's not even just that. Some ARMS have slower speed with a harder punch, and certain attributes. not to mention every character has their own ability. and bigging characters can endure shots without flinching.

This one dude actually managed to match the power of my special for a good bit. if his health wasn't low enough he could have actually made a counter.

really wish they added a story mode tho. that would have really done a lot for the characters. it's my 4th most played game sitting at 100.

Ah well maybe I was just playing against trash players but all the players I fought online was spamin grab and dashing all over the place.

Plus I never really got use to the obtuse controls with my short time with it and in the global test punch I didn't see an option to map your buttons

But I still I feel the main gameplay is fun I just think its missing something and I've seen some high level play and even that looked meh

Still a fun game tho I just don't think its worth the price its at

NBA2K

Mario odysssey
Mario Kart
Portal Knights
Opus find earth
Just bought Uno
I got a backlog as well. Really enjoying it and I hope they come out with an updated Switch very soon. Bigger screen more power.

With the motion controls, ARMS is a very fun party game or one to play with your kids. I don't regret paying full price for it.

I believe they confirmed it isn't gonna have any revisions, just peripherals like the Labo.
