Got a question for the brehs:

I’m looking at Mario + Rabbids and Splatoon 2. After getting paid and handling bills, I’ve got enough for just one (I’ll buy the other next paycheck)

Some on the Internet say M+R is mini XCOM but drags some way through the game and is somewhat of a chore to finish. For Splatoon, they said Nintendo’s shytty online is a major buzz kill.

I love SRPGs which M+R is (I was gonna buy it when I got my Switch but got BoTW and Odyssey) , and Splatoon could fulfill that shooter craving when I’m playing my Switch.

Well now that all the dlc is out and Donkey Kong is coming as a new character in spring. It's well worth it.

It's dope. The story is fun but once you pick up on the direction. Go to one world, get a new character, go to the next world, get a new character. It somewhat flattens out and you're kind of like "ok just gimme the new character". But you don't know who you're going to get until they give them to you and the boss battles are great.

The first world is a great introduction then the difficulty steps up significantly and the battles become challenging, especially if you want to get perfects you'll need to play the world's over and over again. And if you want to get the collectibles (new weapons) you will need to explore the world's.

Do you REALLY need a Pro controller? I play in handheld mode most of the time, but the SNK classic fighters need a better D-Pad to pull off moves, Platoon/ARMS sound like they benefit from motion controls from the Pro, and Super Mario Odyssey seems adamant on pushing motion controls and using the split joycon on you. I want one, but that $70 price tag is rather steep.

I dont care for NFC and Amiibo shyt, so I can do without those
Yes you do. fukk I look like waving my arms all around all Nilly Willy? I beat mothafukkas in ARMS online, play the new Mario and Zelda, all with a pro controller. The joycon grip setup is too small

+10 coming your way. Do you recommend Splatoon 2? And if you had to get just one between M+R and Splatoon 2, which would you get?

Mario + Rabbids is a great game. I 100%'d it myself.
I prefer it to Splatoon but I'm not much of an online gamer. The online runs fun but it is weird playing a co-op shooter with no easy option for voice chat
They're both great games though.

Id choose Mario + Rabbids over Splatoon. I did and I was not disappointed. Even before the DLC I had sunk about 100 hours into the game. It was well worth the money. I'm very impressed with the fact that ubisoft came with a season pass to add more weapons and 2 player, plus more difficult challenges. If they added online they'd pretty much have to bundle it with switch consoles because there would be no reason not to. They've supported the game more than I couldve asked for and more than I expected.
