So I think I have a good one fellas. My girl bought me a Nintendo Switch, she asked if I wanted one a while back and I told her maybe when the Mario game comes out later this year, I thought it was regular conversation. She literally called BestBuy, GameStop, Toys R Us, Target and Walmart EVERY SINGLE DAY at opening. Until GameStop had one for in person order. She left her job (without telling anyone) and got to GameStop immediately to order and have it delivered in 1 day. I woke up to take a shower on my birthday and there was a big bag sitting in the bathroom. I open it and it's a fukking Switch with Zelda and the Lego game. Damn brehs :mjcry:

#SwitchSet

:wow:

Oh wow! Yeah, Snipperclips might be the move! Yeah she used to play games as a kid (the sonics and the marios) but never really as an teenager/young adult. So any game that involves moving the camera is a no go, she basically looks like she's drunk.

Thanks,
:salute:

If she grew up playing Mario & Sonic 2D games, check out Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove if you don't already own it. Comes with the original excellent Shovel Knight and 2 DLC expansions. One DLC (Plague Knight) is booty but the Spectre Knight DLC is outstanding, might be better than the original

Those are only US numbers too
Damn Zelda outsold the system
Can't even get on switch damn wife out here on it more than the newborn :damn:

With limited supply of the System, and it being on both Wii U and Switch. I would imagine so. They are marketing the fukk out of this thing everywhere. If they knock it right the hell out the park at E3, it may just be a wrap.

A lot of gamers these days like to speak for a greater audience instead of enjoying the hard work people put into these games. I'll never forget these 4 clearly biased Sony stans who just shat on Splatoon while bigging up Sony E3 presentation think it was 2015. Saying "what will people do when the Splatoon hype dies after a couple months?" :stopitslime:

Someone on reddit made a voting system for the most wanted games to come to Switch.

Never had a chance to beat custom robo, but it was a pretty fun game when I rented it.

Research firm SuperData revealed today that its analysis shows that Nintendo has sold 2.4 million Switches during its first month of release. The home console/portable hybrid launched worldwide on March 3. SuperData noted that it collaborated with market researcher Gfk and the Japanese gaming publication Famitsu to come up with the figure.

SuperData now projects that the Switch will sell 7.2 million consoles in 2017. That is up from its original forecast of 5 million units, showing that this is a better start than the research group was expecting.

SuperData: Nintendo sells 2.4 million Switch consoles worldwide in first month, above original forecast

I've said it before, Wii U flopped because of a drought of first party games, not third party like many people claim. There was barely anything to play on that system from Nintendo themselves till 3D World and by then it was way too late.

This time, we're getting Zelda, MK8D, a new ip in Arms, Splatoon, Xenoblade and Mario in the first 10 months. 3 huge, open world games and 3 big multiplayer titles for the online players. It's a good launch year

Yeah, that drought was godawful. At least with the Switch there seems to be a big game coming out every month whereas the Wii U's big game after the holidays was Lego City Undercover in March and then NOTHING till September.

Nintendo needs to keep up the momentum. Where's Metroid? Where's Pokemon?

Pokemon is coming this year, the Stars are aligning in it's favor.

Everytime Metroid is mentioned at Nintendo it's met with
