Ths was clearly a response to the social media backlash, which is a step…

But these tarriffs finna jack this hoe up anyway
DK game was announced a 70 from the start. Tbh I don't understand why some are 70 and 80 baed on Nintendo's pricing.

Okay, Doug Bowser had an interview with Washington Post and has explained the price:

"What you see right there is variable pricing. We’ll look at each game, really look at the development that’s gone into the game, the breadth and depth of the gameplay, if you will, the durability over time and the repeatability of gameplay experiences.

“Those are all factors, and there’s many more that go into consideration of what is the right price point for the game. So I think you can anticipate that there will be variable pricing, and we haven’t set a benchmark.”

People aren't trying to hear this though, but this is absolutely the direction every company should be going (again) currently we've only really accepted being charged less for games if they are smaller. But it should go both ways.

Guess I'm not an enthusiast then

:martin:

As well as most console gamers who don't own a PS5 pro.
You know damn well enthusiasts always referred to people that were likely to want to buy the products that are typically "Pro" or upgrade models compared to what everyone else has. Most console gamers who own a PS5 or w/e are just gamers, among them hardcore gamers being the ones that are sweaty and play hours upon hours daily.

The PlayStation 5 Pro has always been a machine for hardcore graphical enthusiasts, with a hefty $700 price tag and proprietary upscaling technology called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).

Potentiometer joysticks (normal joysticks) are fine. Nintendo just bought a shytty plastic for the physical wiper and resistive track that eroded and reduced contact, eventually causing drift.. I'd be shocked if they don't use higher quality plastic this time.
Nah I learned my lesson not only with Nintendo but with the other two clowns too, I'm never buying non-hall effect joysticks again.

Nintendo fanboys are laughable. I remember Dexit. They wasn't buying Pokemon till it got addressed. They made those games the best selling games in the series till the sequels came out and outsold them. There's no bite behind their bark they'll complain and then go out and buy the console and buy the game and Mario Kart World Tour will be among the best selling games of all time.

I think people will start buying physical copy over digital copy since it's going to be expensive now, so they can own it.

Isn't the physical copy a empty cartridge? You still have to download the game. You're only paying the extra $10 just to be required to insert an empty cartridge to play a digital game.
