No it’s because Nintendo style games have a certain appeal. The typical poster here probably doesn’t care about them. They might make amazing games but to many of the core demographic they’d rather play God of War or Last of Us. Nintendo is dead to a lot of them.

I like Zootopia but not every Game of Thrones fan in even open to watching something like it.

I’m open to Nintendo but if I could only have 1 console it’s PlayStation and I wouldn’t think twice.

This, and i do like a diverse group of games. I’ve gone on record saying how much i loved BOTW and that Hollow KNight are probably in my top 5 ever. The thing is there just isn’t enough BOTW’s and Fire emblems on nintendo for me to feel vindicated by purchasing it. I have over 20 games on thsi thing and they just don’t hold my attention at all.

I’m literally only hanging onto it for SMT V and the hope of another Fire Emblem

Gamepass is absolutely revolutionary in the gaming space. Paired with xcloud it is the future of gaming. They’re adding 3 million subs a quarter. Microsoft is laying the groundwork for something really amazing. They’re building out studios and acquiring them.

Sony and Nintendo aren’t gonna be able to pivot when the time comes that all the others recognize how amazing Gamepass is.

If you let your fan biases blind you to the greatness Microsoft is cooking that’s your bad. I’m not a primary Xbox guy but Gamepass is amazing. It’s more forward thinking than anything Nintendo and Sony are really doing.

These are literally bargain bin games at this point. It’s just the quantity of games that people are going crazy over. If you are a full grown adult that can afford a 15 dollar subscription (on top of all your other monthly subscriptions) every month and a 500 dollar console, why is few games you can get under 10 dollars so exciting to you, really?
