Nintendo has never been big on perseverance, or back compat.
You either get it while it's available or you miss the boat.
And in their case I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.
People have had over a decade to get some of these games and now are upset because they can't buy them in a year ..
You already know Nintendo is gonna ration these games out with there online service slow and painfully.
If you want any of these games you've got about a year to own it.

Not only does the PS5 not favor game preservation, but certain PS3 games are unable to get patches n

How many need or require a patch or latest update to a version?
what do handheld gaming PCs look like? steam deck. lyra. kishi makes your phone look like...what. gameboy is still being copied. gamepads. pokemon knock offs. gba, wii motes, controllers with sounds coming out of them, dynamic rumble, mascot platformers...

I’d say they look more like psp/vitas than Nintendos.
The vita died off long before the DS and its still more advanced than the switch
psp/vita look like gba especially vita. and its not anywhere near as advanced as the switch, what are you drinking

They stopped making the 3DS so it's either buy one used or pay insane prices. When that eShop goes all the games prices will likely go insane.Scalpers are fukking up the game on God

Either way prices are likely to explode soon. Because this has an end date for online the demand for all of it is going to go up.
No it doesn't. I just bought one from GameStop for $150 and one straight from Nintendo for $100. New ones aren't even officially available anymore, they are both refurbished.
Prices for physical 3DS games have already exploded. Wii U games used to be cheap, I don't know what they are going for now.

Got everything I needed from Sony and Nintendo for these handhelds/consoles from their respective sites. I make sure I do my part to get the games I want before they disappear forever.
