Are you going to tell me why you don't think Warren is a progressive?

95% of what you just wrote boils back down to the issue I mentioned above of competing/conflicting paths. But you guys want to make it more complicated, mostly bc that way you can't be pinned down to having to actually explain the nuts and bolts.

Because her policy set is literally a right wing/center right policy set. I'm not sure how much more simple that can be explained to you. Being to the left of the right wing/far right policies doesn't automatically doesn't make you some sort of progressive leftists candidate. Warren's policy are still right wing/Center right policies on any other country on the planet. If that's difficult for you to understand I have no idea what else to tell you.

Your policies are what determines when you fall on the political compass not some arbitrary title our very right media labels these people. Warren has never at any point in her career been a progressive.

With that said I actually like Warren, and I like her policies if I can't have Bernie so I'm not sure why this label of center right bothers you so much. She would've been great as a VP or hell even President. I think you believe I'm attacking Warren but that simply isn't the case. That's where her policy set puts her. I've spoken pretty glowingly about Warren on numerous occasions on this very board. She's more of a centrist than she is a right winger.:yeshrug:

Also Politics is complicated, this isn't the fukking fascist party where they drool over themselves and can't explain anything. Democratic party is a big tent party that includes many different factions. It's fukking complicated, sorry if that bothers you.

I don't think you're attacking her and I never suggested that. Again that's just you assuming bc it's easier to attack strawmen. All I did was ask you to explain to me what led you to make the conclusion that she wasn't progressive and you still haven't managed to do so. :mjlol:

Complicated indeed. :francis:

What other explanation do you need other than her policies are center right?

I mean why is Hitler a fascist? Because he had and executed (no pun intended) fascist policies. That's it, what other explanation do you really fukking need?

None of what I'm sayin to you should be complicated at all. There is no larger explanation outside of this.

this is the problem with not looking at politics globally because anyone who isn’t completely insane looks progressive :francis:

Yes someone who's not sure if he'll be able to afford a home in today's market is "too privileged " you guys are ridiculous and if you think our politics are more left than they've ever been you're also completely insane. I literally consider my self privileged because I can feed myself, own a car and can pay rent. Majority of the country can't say that.
It's statements like this that make me think you're privileged and argume from a place of self interest over principle.

:russ:
I'm sorry I can get a good paying job at a good company and you can't :yeshrug:

I took advantage of my education while you sat at home watching youtube conspiracy theory videos and destroyed your intelligence.

Do better

You're being pretty disingenuous posting that because by itself it's completely out of context. It's the second or third time you've posted that quote and purposely taken it completely out of context not only of where it was posted by WHO it was posted addressing which are the two most important parts. If you're going spread misinformation on this board about the vaccines I'm going to be an a$$hole. It's that simple and I'm not going apologize for it. Some people deserve to be treated like shyt and that poster gave me an opening so I took it.

It doesn't change anything about my beliefs which you're going to have actually attack and tell me why a government that serves it's people and makes life better of most of citizens isn't better than what we currently have.

Once again just because you only care about yourself doesn't mean the rest of us do. Stop projecting on me and sit down and figure out what your actual beliefs are then we can have genuine conversation if you'd like.

Also if you're premise here posting this is to make me out to be a "bad person" when the fukk have I ever claimed to be a good person. I'm just not a complete sociopath like you that's all and I don't have to take random quotes out of context to show that you do it just fine on your own.

I've now seen posters who lean left attacked for their education or their lifestyle by neoliberals, both are disgusting and shouldn't be used as some kind of gotcha to diminish their beliefs. If you're unwilling to discuss the actual polices then why even quote me? Isn't that what Higher Learning is for NO?

I get that you're going to lose any policy discussion, so I understand why you'd do it.

I'm educated and have a great job. So let's dead that.

But I'm at least honest enough to say that a vast majority of the policies I support are because they affect me. In a positive way or because they would have helped me as I grew up and others like me.

At the end of the day, I support many of the policies I do because I know that getting things done helps people more than posturing for an all or nothing approach thay further harms the disenfranchised.

It's also an extension of what I've learned from my professional work.

We were tasked at redisigning a service implementation where machines receive over 6k calls per second. The first iteration of this project was done by completely disregarding the entire first system and creating a new model. It failed because it didn't take into consideration the amount of legacy infrastructure in place mixed in with modern infra. The second iteration of this was to make an interactive change that was a reimagining of the previous (first) model. 4 years later that's the standard.

It's good to have vision and stability in beliefs and intentions, but it's also important to be able to implement change that actually helps.

I don't know what you're rambling about regarding vaccines. Must be someone else.youre responding to.

I was traveling today and didn't get a chance to respond to his sideways comments about me but now I can see who he really is based on his past elitist comments and let me tell you I'm so disappointed in him. I thought we were conversing in good faith but I was clearly wrong. I had actually thought to myself before you replied to him and wondered to myself how many corporate checks this self described college educated, ivory tower dwelling, dikk head cashed over the last 10-20+ years to look down on a small business owner like me without even knowing my story. Let me tell you I no longer see an ally or a progressive.

He's mad he s well off and can't afford to buy a home in the big city.

I'm certain he's latched on this movement because he feels not paying for insurance and getting his student debt removed would allow him to move further up the 5%.

He's views them less of an ally and more of a shield for his own ambitions.

You can feel the oozing entitlement

Mr. Corporate America has probably had his health insurance paid for by his employer since he was an intern. I can't with these people, Bro. I built what I stand on.

A lot of millennials are delusional because they couldn't cut it in the real world and be the overlords they thought they could be and had drilled into them since they were kids.

Small fish in a little pond. No surprise he lives in Florida.

I think that's what led to the first failure. Storage consumption was always king for datacenters.

But you have to balance cpu usage, ram allocation and physical storage.

Tldr you don't need to run services on every machine in a DC.

You’re 100% not a progressive and u never were an ally. Small business owners tend to suck :yeshrug:. You’re no different from the rest and ur guys opinions on politics tend to be garbage and have nothing to do with actually improving the lives of all Americans which is goal. It’s typically more self centered.
