melo's nuggets teams were better. they just had horrible draws in the playoffs.
as opposed to this nuggets team who has an easy path.

the revamped '09 squad got a good draw and almost made the finals.
but the '08 team was only a few games outta like 2nd place. cant remember the '07 standings. but both of those teams in 07 & 08 could've been the 2nd or 3rd best squads in today's west.

This is true. That 09 team was 2 Anthony carter inbound passes away from winning a ring. But as OP mentioned, this is the 8th youngest team to ever make the playoffs. They’re nowhere close to their ceiling.

Melo aint even black. He Puerto Rican

Melo mom is black and dad is Puerto Rican, he grew up in West Baltimore and identifies as black.

I don’t even think he every really knew about his pops and Puerto Rican family til he was older.

Melo represents his blackness 100%

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
I loved the Melo era especially when it overlapped with the Billups era. I think what’s going on right now has the potential to be pretty special especially if we can keep the young core together and they can stay healthy.
