I think the haters are the incels of the bunch it's not a coincidence that they are posted in the Kevin Samuels thread.

I have met some pretty cool Nigerian brehs. But then I have met quite a few of them that have that crabs in a barrel type of mentality and their obsession is focused on a group of people that for the most part don't even know that they exist.

Seriously America has a Caste with black Americans at the bottom and immigrants and taught to disassociate themselves from blackness in order to get ahead.

You seem like a very level headed Nigerian poster. So I have this question for you. Why are so many Nigerians just straight up jealous of African Americans? The shyt seems to obsessive at this point.

I wouldn't use the word jealously, i would say that they lack empathy. They (especially previous generation Nigerians) see themselves as overcoming the world.

They overcame the Biafran War, they overcame coming to America broke, they overcame xyz...
So they come here and see Black Americans not doing as well as they believe that they should do, and they resent them.

They see Black Americans as lazy because in their minds.. "I survived war, I came here broke, and I made something of myself... I had it 100x harder than any of you!!:mindblown:"

But the truth is that they were not born to a couple... who was born to a couple... who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who was born to a couple.. who were enslaved in America

If you are Nigerian and came here with 2 married educated parents, transportation, and a place to stay... you were privileged (myself included)

This is the part that I really hate... I REALLY hate. They don't fukking acknowledge anyone's hardship but their own!! Even my own parents are on that shyt.

The second I came to the US, I had an advantage over many black people here because I wasn't born here. I wasn't born into poverty in America. I wasn't born to parents who didn't finish college or worse. I wasn't born to a 1 family household. I didn't have the deck stacked against me.

Nigerians (not all, but the ones in the OP) think they are prospering while having the deck stacked and them.. and some do, i wont lie. But how can you acknowledge that while having 0 empathy for the fellow black man who has been dealing with American racism and white supremacy for centuries before they even came into existence?

don't even get me started on this.. this topic really REALLY annoys me. I loathe this shyt

TL;DR - The Nigerians like dude in the OP have no empathy or sympathy for Black American struggles. They think Black Americans actually have it easier than any other demographic and are too lazy or wicked to capitalize on it.

Most black people around the world lack empathy for other black people, not just Nigerians. If all black people were able to understand and empathise with each other then there would be no diaspora wars.

Edit: This politician needs his brain reset if he thinks he can get rid black history month. People from his state are being brutalised by Fulani herdsmen and he's here, talking nonsense about black people in America. Priorities.

What is really strange though is that a lot of Nigerian immigrants keep trying to lump all African Americans into the same boat and apparently those immigrants didn't know that there have been millions of African Americans that have been thriving in the USA long before immigrant Nigerians ever got here. Nigerian immigrants keep focusing on poor African Americans who they think are representative of all African Americans, but that has never been true in this country, because there have been millions of other African Americans that have been middle class and upper middle class for longer than Nigerians have even been in America.

How do those Nigerian immigrants just ignore that African Americans have had HBCUs for over 150+ years now where we have turned out doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers, teachers, nurses, etc.? My own family has literally been connected to HBCUs for over 100 years now and we have turned out a lot of professionals middle class people. That is not even addressing all of my cousins, nieces and nephews that have attended schools like Cal Berkley, Stanford, Northwestern, Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee, etc. So do most Nigerians really think that they are doing something in America that African Americans had not done before them? Because that shows a lack of knowledge on the part of Nigerian immigrants.
