Mind you these were some of my favorite rappers. I still love listening to Ghost to this day. But i too exception to the Redman one especially since that was mid 90s when Haitians were stigmatized in parts of the african-american community especially in places like South Florida and Jersey.
  • Redman - Bomb traum', funkier than Haitian underarms. Represent Jersey, the land of firearms.
  • GhostFace - My Memorex performed tape decks, my own Fostex/ Watch out for Haiti bytches, I heard they throw hex/ Yo, wu whole platoon is filled with racc00ns
I cant recall the Nas one right now. I have to think and look for it. He had a line
Oh word!! :ohhh: :russ:

I forgot about those darts

I can’t tell you not to be offended by those lines I hear you

4th Chamber!!! :ohlawd:

It won't come and it wouldn't apply here. SAS's parents are from the US Virgin Islands.
Stephen A Smith is from the U.S. Virgin Islands. I highly doubt the hardcore A.D.O.S. brehs would claim him :hubie:
stephenn a smith isn't ados....he's west indian
Ah I didnt know that, I just saw a lot of replies from africans on twitter using this as an example to shyt on african americans and descendants of slaves for the way they supposedly treat africans so I thought SAS was ados :lupe:

Well SAS grew up in the United States mainland and among African Americans and has no accent so he's able to blend in with ADOS oe "pass" as ya'll say.

Besides most of the Caribbean consider USVI to be the most americanized of all the island because they are an american territory afterall

Stephen A. Smith identified as African American in his written apology to the Asian community yesterday.
Read the apology

That might be what caused the confusion, but people using the words of one person to represent the thoughts of an entire group of Black people would hardly be new around here.
It's wrong 100% of the time, though.

That's crazy because it switched hands from the Dutch to the Danish before the US purchased those lands outright in the early 1900s.

yeah, most of the time, Stephen A presents himself as "African American" but his West Indian background is no secret

For ESPN's Stephen A Smith, Finding a Sanctuary in St Thomas

this is part of the reason the ADOS faction came to be:mjgrin:

People need to stop with the family is from X that makes Stephen A from X. No it doesn’t. Stephen A is born here so he’s American.

Like I said my whole family is from Jamaica. Both parents everyone but I was born in the Bronx I am not Jamaican I am an American.
