The trade itself was not a bad trade. It was more the shock of trading a 25 year old all NBA superstar out of seemingly nowhere, who wanted to stay.

If Luka announced he wanted out before the deadline because he wasn't planning to sign an extension, then this trade is a good return (sans AD going down last night, of course)

Imo the WOAT trade is still either the VC trade (still burns) or the Rudy Gobert haul. Lol.
