ESPN Radio host Paul Finebaum reported on his show on Tuesday that while Brown's immediate future will be the immediate focus on the national media, there could be news in the near future on Saban and his future with Alabama.

"You're also going to hear a lot more about Nick Saban because he has a contract on his desk that's been there since Friday - and today is Tuesday," he said. Finebaum did not cite a source for the information.

If Nick isn't leaving, why hasn't he signed the contract? It has to be because he wanted to see if Texas became open. And now the job is open.
