dude, black people can't cancel anyone who has primarily a non-black consumer base:mjtf:
This is why I never took any part of the diaspora wars seriously.
The amount of time and energy people devoted to going after random people. Yet when known entertainers or media companies disrespect or make an example of somebody, pleas are copped and excuses are made.

There is a big difference between addressing an issue (diaspora wars) and CANCELING a person whose primary consumers are non-black (Vanilla Ice, Eminem, Six9ne etc..). Yeah, you can 'cancel' someone within the black community but if they still have large non-black support base, they ain't going nowhere (Dojcat)

Your exact response to a post about cancelling the white boy caught on mic using slur was basically "hey, we can't do anything about it"

really? I don't think that's how it works. you apply pressure with the labels and the media companies that employ them as artists, performers etc.

this really doesn't work--unless the person does some off the wall sh1t that they can't comeback from--because white people are still going to support them

not their fanbase... Black people didn't cancel Nick Cannon if Viacom does get him off they didn't have to go through his audience to do it.

but it's the person's consumer base that determines how 'canceled' they can be. So:

if a black person who's somewhat popular with a core black consumer base but has also has cross over in the white world, gets "canceled," by those same whites, they're lack of a non-black consumer base will hurt them more than...

if a white person who has a mostly white consumer base gets canceled by/within the black community

no, that's not what Im saying. Yes, "We" as in the black community can address it/cancel him within our scope BUT he would not be canceled on a large scale (mainstream) because most of his supporters are non-black. This is just a simple demographics observation/reality
