Nick Cannon could own a great promotion (UPDATE: 2017 and I still believe it, just add Wale)

fukk the nikkas in this thread clowning, youre onto something:myman: they just see the name nick cannon and automatically think negatively but a person of his status with his connections would be successful at this if their heart was really in it

he could hire wale and peter rosenberg in some capacity:wow:
anything to get that cac off of NY radio

maybe one day ill run a wrestling company and make u the face of the company like the good ol days:mjpls:

Brehs, 2 nights ago I had a random ass dream that Nick Cannon owned a wrestling company & it was great as hell. When you really think about it, who really hustles harder than Nick Cannon? Think of the amount of shyt he's been able to pull off since he was a teenager.

Now, you're probably thinking Nick Cannon is a goofball (he can even rag on himself, but that's what helps him) but this man has a GREAT business mind & has connections.

- He is the chairman of TeenNick & easily has ties to regular Nickelodeon (Think of the kids bro, kids love wrestling)
- He has ties with MTV (We live in the MTV generation, Wrestling Society X was done on MTV, Nick Cannon can make a way better product)
- He's young & still in touch. (More than Vince)
- He can do comedy (He can play the bad guy boss and get messed up from time to time)
- He is a music producer (great themes can be produced)
- Was the host for NBC's Americas got talent (NBC BREHS)
- Has the BET connection
- Was the host for NBA things & The Halo Awards
- He has ties with MULTIPLE celebrities & even people with internet fame (Actually cool people could pop up & promote shows & even perform music :ohhh:)

Imagine if some WWE folk ended up leaving for Canon Wrestling Entertainment?

Fandango makes his CWE debut with a bunch of instagram models (Wild N Out Girls) :wow:

The New Day has a segment with with the most popular comedian right now, Kevin Hart.

THEY ANNOUNCE A TOURNAMENT TO CROWN THE FIRST EVER WORLD CHAMPION AND HAVE RING GIRLS LIKE BOXING. Tell me this belt doesnt look better than most wrestling belts right now.

The ideas are endless brehs. Yall may think I'm joking and gonna be like :mjlol: but Nick Cannon could pull this off I believe. He just needs the staff & direction. Hell, even get Wale on the staff since he loves wrestling.

Honestly I feel like only a hipster CaC neckbeard promotion that has an already built in fanbase for the indie wrestlers they sign and can network with some hipster CaC media publications (Vice/Noisey, Complex and maybe find a TV channel that fits that or just FS1) is the promotion that can get over (Not a challenge to WWE of course but maybe a decent little niche)

Aesthetically a lot of what that dream promotion OP mentioned feels like something you would see run on MTV from maybe between 2003-2007 for like a season like Wrestlng Society X. Its like even Lucha although its dope, feels like it carries some gimmicky baggage and makes it get dismissed by people.

For the masses even sponsors/network, they feel only WWE exist. And yet there's aspects of the New Japan/RoH promotion that feel like they would appeal to modern pop culture fans, I dont know :manny:
