The only REAL issue I see about it is the whole "Kayfabe" thing.

Nick is great on Wild'n'out but "it's all jokes"...

NBC America's got talent is a talent show...

Wrestling shows are "supposed to be real" and they are "acting" so to have Nick Cannon who is a CONSTANT 4th wall breaker just wouldn't work in a wrestling promotion. Nick could be a great "Vince type" in a scripted show, but wrestling and Nick just wouldn't mix like that.

After taking a minute to think about everything you wrote, I actually think it could possibly work. As long as he's not trying to be the star of the show, or like Vince or something. Maybe he can be a host of some sorts; but with all of his connections it could work well as long as he hires good wrestling people to work in the back.
