You can but it's way harder. You have to time it perfectly. Honestly make it easy on yourself and go lightweight.

I died needlessly a few times because I didn't switch my armor up.
Also I read something about you can put acupuncture needles on as a shortcut and using them cures the paralysis but I haven't tried that.

Beat the third boss on my fifth or so go. Loving this game. Is this ninjitsu and magic shyt worth investing in?

Ninjutsu is pretty cool, those caltrops are clutch and poison shurikens are pretty good

I use magic and pretty much stay using carnage. That double edge sword play style.

Its a spell that you do double damage with physical attacks but u take twice as much damage.
