With 7 seeds being so ass, does that change the value of wins against them? Or help show how silly "qb wins" is?

Like Josh Allen is 6-5 in the playoffs but 4 of those wins are against a 7th seed. He's played 4 out of 5 of the AFC 7 seeds so far.
No QB wins is legit, because great QBs win games and they win a ton of em...

The quality of competition matters though, and to this point of Allen's career, we see the proof in his W-L vs 7s (4-0), and vs everybody else (2-5). To this point his track record is that he isn't as dominant vs higher competition, that's a fair point to make. But then, nobody has a great track record vs higher competition besides MaWhiteman...

A win is a win regardless of the opponent.

I'd say Allens play in the loss vs KC in the 2021 season is bigger proof of his ability than going off on #7s.

And a W this week against Baltimore would mean 100x more than beating up Denver.

I just don't see why Ws are such an important metric when they aren't equal and don't provide enough context on their own.

And when I say the NFL product is just as meh as the NBA in that Inside the NBA is trash discussion, they dont wanna hear it.

Adding that 7th seed to the playoffs is the equivalent of the NBA turning the 1st round into 7 game series from 5

Completely unnecessary.

I still can't believe that there is a whole generation now adults raised on ESPN talking points that ever took "qb wins" seriously

:mindblown:

I can't take anyone serious, ever, that speaks of "qb wins"

Mark Sanchez holding the record for most playoff road wins should’ve killed that QB wins nonsense

I’m accused of being an NFL stan. shyt is wild in here. You’re not allowed to have a balance take on things. The NFL does a great job of being the anti “inside the NBA” and making sure you dont hear that there are problems with the league.
