Great post, but even with that being said, the rules didnt come until full effect until 2011. That when the passing stats became very inflated..2004 had some huge QB seasons, but in 2005, it was right back to a more defensive oriented league. They were only 2 4000 yard passers in 2005. When Manning won MVP in 2008, he had less than 30 td(27, to.be exact) and in 2009, he threw 16 ints as MVP, a far cry from the absurd numbers of 2011-current

Im a firm believer that it takes a few years for the rules to really manifest. So while the rule for Palmer and then Brady, really started to peak in 2011. Rookie QBs rarely played well back in the day. Go to 2011, Cam throws for 400 in his debut. 2012, we have three rookie QBs with excellent seasons(Luck, RG3, Wilson) and so and so forth

Now it's looking like the pendulum looks like it needs to swing back in the other direction (more ground game). Especially since these DLinemen are all seemingly being built to stop these new age offensives of throwin 40 to 50 times a game shyt. It's needed.

Too many average mediocre QBs getting elite and ridiculous pay and then complain about lack of weapons and shyt. nikka, you taking up over 20% of the cap by yourself!
