Did the Lions win the Game against the Chiefs on opening day 2023, yes or no?

Are the Lions better now than at that point, yes or no?

Is Chris Jones good enough to disrupt the best oline in the NFL and get this offense off the field, by himself, yes or no?

The only thing stopping the Lions is indecisive on HOW they want to Score.

That’s not the debate. Take out the lions two best players and say a team beats them really means nothing. And at full strength still only won by a point. FOH like the lions are this unbeatable team

Cut out that passive-aggressiveness, Bryan.

All the advanced metrics since his first start 2 years ago point to Purdy being a clear Pro Bowl level QB. Whether it's deep throw accuracy, air yards, pass percentage on tight windows, throw difficulty, etc..

That's not to say he hasn't had a few bad games but the whole "game manager" thing was never true. He's always looking down field. This year without CMC in the lineup he has almost zero check downs and screens too. Almost no YAC.

Mahomes played that game, unless you think Kelce and Jones are better?

:jbhmm:
Jameson Williams and Jamyr Gibbs also didn't play that game either.

What matters is, at that point in time, the lions hadn't been in the playoffs in like 10 years or some shyt. So it MATTERED that they were able to beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead on opening night.

Now the Lions KNOW they can play win, and that shyt matters.

Ravens were lucky to win that one. Glad we've got the MVP and now a King to lean on. As for the defense, figured Orr would struggle early on (so did Mike Mac), but he's a smart dude; I'm confident he'll figure things out on the go.

Future's mad bright in DC. Give them an offseason to draft/sign reinforcements, see Daniels continue to improve, and.... :banderas:Thrilled for the city and fanbase. That was a legacy franchise before Snyder mucked it up.

Falcons for real or nah? They're winning, but the teams they're beating range from :patrice:to :trash:.

GB's just a solid team. Nothing about them really jumps out at you (no shade at Love, he's great); it's just a good, well-coached squad.

Unfortunate Hutchinson got hurt. Hopefully that doesn't derail their season.

IDK what we're learning about this Cincy-NYG game, except it probably should never have been in prime time. :russell:

Lions defense may be lacking with Hutchinson out for the rest of the season. no one knows if he will even be the same after that injury.

That's the point. The Lions were hyped up for that game while for the Chiefs it's just another regular season game. At in Chris Jones and Kelce being out as well as the Chiefs top receiver Juju gone in free agency. Chiefs were working in a lot of new pieces AND still should've won the game. Lions strike no fear in the Chiefs.
