You don’t get an offense that’s 4th in DVOA by running a conservative offense folks

You using your own words then refuting it :pachaha: Nobody said their offense was conservative. The run game is actually explosive. As most triple option attacks are :bryan:

But that doesn’t change the fact he’s shyt as a passer. The team is 4th in offensive DVOA, but he’s 11th as a passer in DVOA :wtf: And Gus Edward’s is 3rd in rush DVOA. GUS EDWARDS.

So—-obviously—-we know what’s tipping the scale for their offensive rank. And yes that is bc of Lamar’s running skillset

So congrats your boy runs an elite triple option attack Georgia Tech would be proud

He'll be a bust like the rest of the USC QBs. :manny:

This is such a lazy take considering he wasn't originally at USC and he plays nothing like the prototypical USC QB's. He's not Leinart, Barkley, or Darnold. They were all flawed, low ceiling players and that would've been true regardless of the school they attended.

That's like passing on Stroud because Fields is struggling. They're two different players with different skillsets.

Caleb will be good the only question is how good. His ceiling could have him in the top 10. The right situation can have him top 5 if his work ethic translates.

The Steelers low key could have a top 5 receiving core room in the league….yet they’re on the brink of implosion bc Pickett is trash

They need to release Diontae. He's a cancer and is quitting on plays.

Talent from the PAC 12 is usually ass in the NFL no matter the position. The 49ers have their best players in the history of that bum ass conference. :skip:

No matter the year the Utes got USC number:heh::heh: bum ass Trojans.
UCLA being dog shyt all year and then snuffing out USC.:dead::dead:

Looking like Generational talent against ASS opponents, but looking meh against top talent does not spell a super star in the NFL. People never learn with these hyped up QBs:francis:

You willingly watched Georgia tech football during the Johnson years :laff: ….this is making perfect sense now

Miami fan, so I've consumed a TON of ACC football. plus loved to gamble on CFB. Those offenses were fun when Johnson first got there but once the talent from the last regime was done they sucked honestly. I mean when run properly the veer can be entertaining as hell but I also use to be a huge college football junkie but since it's becoming a semi pro league now I just prefer then NFL. Magic is gone in college football now

Well they are getting good production from the running game well relative to the plays they call. So they basically play until the lead is fairly comfortable then chew up clock. Like they are breaking a lot of big chunk plays.

Does anyone actually think that would be possible if you had say... Russ, Dobbs, Menshew (insert mediocre QB here obviously russ would be a high end game manager) in there? Of course not

If Lamar was as shyt at throwing as people are trying to claim people would just stack the box. Ask the Lions how making Lamar beat them through the air worked out for them.

People really discounting how defenses have caught up to the offenses. Even the Dolphins, San Fran, and Detroit slowed down for a bit there. Its just hard to produce high end offense week in and week out in the NFL. The defenses are just too talented now a days. I mean christ denver went from giving up a 70 to the dolphins to making mahomes their bytch

Things change quickly in the NFL and now were seeing another change just like when we saw defenses get absolutely eviscerated once offenses modernized and started incorporating college stuff within them like the wildcat. Did everyone forget what happened when the dolphins broke the wildcat out against the Patriots because I sure as fukk didn't.

For those who did forget here's a refresher

Mind you the patriots won 11 games this season
