It was bound to happen. You can’t throw the ball 90% of the game and expect defenses not to figure it out. The offenses are too predictable. They need to go back to running a more balanced offense.

It’s not even figured out so much as, again asking your qb to read his reads, with two different coverages, and your first read is often dead, in 2-3 seconds is tough

My concern is why do so many teams have such TRASH offensive lines. That’s the real issue. And the lines are trash for multiple years at a time. Take the dolphins - they last time they actually had a decent o line was when the had the bullying scandal. Are linemen that hard to find or is it the coaching?

Bears Panthers. Have the bengals even fixed their line issues?

Which team in NFL threw the ball 90% of time?

I think a lot of it was to justify these NFL QB contracts.

To piggy back on the post above qbs come in with what they can do, a good oc sticks to that and try’s to build more for it, Russel Wilson likes half field reads, and hates mid field reads because his height, but he also likes to hold the ball to get the deep throw, well if you are a dc guess what you will do

Zone his ass up! Lots of Cover 2, 3 and 4....

I actually like this style of ball. I miss the days where the run set up the pass. You had a few big time throwers, but it was mostly a run-first philosophy with an emphasis on a strong defense as well...

You got these high priced QBs and WRs now, but soon, we'll be pining for solid ball control running backs. Then it'll go back to a more wide open game after that...it's cyclical.
