So i follow and read his stuff, (Cody Alexander)

Defense has taken a new look to slow a lot of offenses down, lighter defenders who can stop the run but cover, split field coverages, man match, pattern match. But then you got Vic in KC hitting mf with cover 1 and then switching it up saying my front 7 will get the pressure and you can’t beat my coverage

TYRONE GA!
interesting, seems like there is no where to throw the ball

And now these overpaid QBs are really getting exposed. :damn:

That’s the goal, create confusion to slow reads down, qbs are classically taught one to two reads, the notion of a qb reading 5 reads in their drop back is rare air. Most of the information a qb processes is on the pre snap read, then they may put a guy in motion to see something, but when the left side is man and the other is quarters no one moves and you get no key reads so in 2-3 seconds a qb has to read his primary read and hope the defense is doing what you think… but then it’s not, then boom the edge rusher is in your chest (pause)

To piggy back on the post above qbs come in with what they can do, a good oc sticks to that and try’s to build more for it, Russel Wilson likes half field reads, and hates mid field reads because his height, but he also likes to hold the ball to get the deep throw, well if you are a dc guess what you will do

Exactly, so you can do any deep passes and have to hope you get to the sticks. More teams should try the two TE sets to tie up defenders.
