I remember seeing stories of older heads that played in the league (players who built the league when salaries werent nowhere near todays) having health problems and not being able to afford medical care (harry carson, conrad dobler....list goes on) and the NFL will not help them out in anyway. Why the fukk cant they have a fukkin awareness month for these people, people who laid the foundation for the current success and proceeds can go to support them?

Now disabled, Dobler has had nine knee replacements. Still in need of further surgeries, Dobler, like many other disabled NFL veterans, has been unable to gain disability assistance from the NFL.[3]

Does the NFL do anything to help these former players out with their medical bills now? I havent really followed the story recently.

I just get angry with this NFL pink shyt cause all it is pagentry to me (even worse me after reading OP article) and if they really wanted to help people they could begin with their own.
