This year's NBA trade deadline, indeed, was one of the better ones compared to years past.

Also, a lot of people are dissatisfied with the Superbowl matchup; some are tired of the Chiefs and are burnt out on Pat Mahomes, who is awfully defying the odds (refs, miracle wins, etc.) in scenarios where he shouldn't be succeeding.

Despite Barkley being sensational throughout the season, nobody wants to see his Eagles either due to numerous reasons, with some believing they're a weak opponent for the Chiefs, further adding to a fan fiction conspiracy among a segment of fans that the NFL is tryna “manufacturer” Mahomes as the GOAT or surpass Brady who many consider to be the GOAT.

Its not a rating thing. The Superbowl game itself will have huge numbers as usual. This open week is "state of the union" "celebrate football and the League" week for the NFL. And its nowhere to be found. Its also suffering from all the sh*t that's going on politically in the world. Just play the game and get it over with. Nobody gives a sh*t about "radio row interviews", the flag football pro bowl, and the wanna be hype leading up to the game.
