NYC has ONE batch of the round 90s buses left, this is their last year of service

There were 5,000 RTS buses in New York at one point and now we're down to the last 200. I remember being when they dropped to under 1500.

Were also down to like 60 D60HF artic buses

Gonna be weird no longer see both of those models on NYC streets. I remember when every 60FT/Articulated bus in NYC was an D60HF.

I can't watch videos of the old WTC anymore, it puts me in a weird mood. I'll never forget visiting 7 WTC and walking though the plaza looking up at the two towers in the summer of 01

Gonna be weird no longer see both of those models on NYC streets. I remember when every 60FT/Articulated bus in NYC was an D60HF.

I like the Xcelsiors and don't mind the boxy Chicago reject New Flyers but the Nova LFS, LFSAs, and the Orion VIIs are trash. People used to hate when NYC was all RTS with a few New Looks and Orion Vs but back in the day bus had it's own personality so no two RTS were alike. You ride one LFS you rode em all.

you really gotta check out the transit museum in brooklyn. They have all the trains from the early 1900s with their original ads.
