Just randomly searching around and I found this thread from a couple of months ago. The above photo is Breakneck Ridge. I go there all the time. Under normal traffic conditions I can be there in 80 minutes from my house in Queens.

Didn't see anyone mention the Palisades on the NJ border. Its within walking distance from Washington Heights in the City. Here are some photos I took

Edit: My bad, should’ve posted the name as well. This is the Mohonk Mountain House.

Because of the locker room hate towards NYC, many here underrate NYS as a whole state.

Upstate/Central New York is one of my favorite places to visit during the Spring and Summer, I have lots friends and family out there and there's a lot of nice places and houses up there. I've been thinking about relocating Upstate when all this Covid shyt dies down.

I love lake placid. I go snowboarding once in a While up there. Spent a lot of time up there as a youngin during the summers.

those white people where seemingly cool. It hosted the 88 olympics so i guess they have people from all walks visit. Great food too.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I worked with a guy who lived in New York at one point, and he once said, "It's funny that when people think of New York, they think of big cities, but the funny thing is New York is about 93% land and the rest is NYC."
