Do you see how crazy this is?? Do you see the structure and foundation we are living on?
This isn't even about the people coming in to move in. It's all about the government and it's planning.
They want to raise the overall paid taxes in the state.
They let our people live there for decades, build the economics, build the infrastructure, the legacy and then turn cheap property into expensive property for the next individual to hold.
Gentrification is a government problem - they are the one's that want it most.
When will we sit down and devise a plan on how to handle these problems has a group?
This needs to be fought in the courtrooms, the government won't listen because they are the biggest player in gentrifying black cities/townships.
Just wait, we will one day have a recession, that'll collide all of this new financing practices.. when employees can no longer afford to live in these places

This will never happen because one its not just a black problem and two this racial dynamics of areas always happen. Its like you nikkas dumb or something. Dang near every area dudes talking about is a black area used to be a white area and vice versa. That's life and happens every few generations. Funny thing is white folks were saying the same things when we started moving in "their" neighborhoods back in the day.
People like you just want to play busy and work on things that can't ever be solved like stopping death. This can't be stopped it happened for our grandparents and now we are seeing it and maybe before some of us leave this life will see it again. yep, the crazy part is that the city is banking on a transient population that is 9 times out of 10 likely to move out the city anyway so they are really doing all this for nothing. they're catering to a bunch of people who view new york more as a vacation spot then plan on going back home. all these people moving into those parts of brooklyn or nyc aren't staying or plan on doing so for the long term. they just go there for a few years and move to out to somewhere else be it another city or whenever. eventually, they are going to move back from where they came from or somewhere similar. so with that said, what exactly is the end game that's going on here? what's the master plan? i wouldn't be surprised if a sinister plot was behind all of this. probably to make one big fema camp on some siege shyt.
last time i checked, the black people that usually moved or live into a low income area are often PUSHED there against their will and the areas that white people move to often are by CHOICE, all sanctioned by the government. this is why they have redlining, housing discrimination and etc despite there "supposedly" being illegal today. it's STILL happening. if you're black, have money in your pocket and etc, there's certain parts of new york, new jersey, connecticut and etc that you CANNOT move to because the real estate agents will straight up tell in their nice little way that you can't move here. there's a reason why certain towns have more whites and more blacks than others. it's institutional racism and classism at its finest. for reference, look up robert moses, levittown and white flight.
and yes, there are STILL sundown towns in the NYC area. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT. you have to be EXTREMELY careful if you're black walking or driving in certain towns in new york, new jersey and connecticut after dark.

I meant knocking on NYC so hard. I know it's cuz they always look down on southern cities as not being "cities" cuz we got trees and ain't got millions of cat-siized rats everywhere. Also, it's just easier for them to claim the South is the racist part of the states (clearly used to be but per all the current issues, it's less in the South but all over).

How can you take someone's property over an unpaid water bill? How can a water bill reach 3+k? They were going to take a 2 million dollar house over a 3k water bill? This world ain't right. These demons need to get what's due to them.
That's why I said it's a government issue not a people issue. And so what are you suggesting? If you have no solution, why are you aiming at someone looking for one, attempting to seek one.

Its never been just the south, its always been all over. The biggest lynchings were in the north east and midwest. It was simply as stated before, the southern whites penchent for living with and around blacks that made whites all over look down on them, and the more overt laws that half the south ignored, while the north, midwest, and west had no laws but had de facto racist customs that achieved the same thing.
