These people have ownership of their property and the money to continue proper management of it but the people that gained power through votes are taking things from them in spite of their money. The people in the second article only kept their property due to intervention by an elected official and their knowledge and use of the system. We need money and votes, it's not an either or thing.

This is no surprise. NYC basically is one of the blueprints in America for institutional racism. They usually experiment in places like NYC or Atlanta what they plan on doing nationwide or sometimes worldwide using the have nots (blacks, gays, and etc) as their guinea pigs.
