Yeah, I showed the trailer for this to my niece who loves them now. She was pretty indifferent.

I doubt this is for kids, though and more of a nostalgia trip, big-budget reboot for people our age.

Yeah it doesn't seem like they're making it for kids. Seems like it's going right at the older demo
