Al makes a very good point but as I've gotten older I'm becoming more of an open minded film fan unless it's just something I'm not interested in at all, like Think like a Man too. A lot of directors are hit and miss. If you told me the man who directed Hard Boiled also directed Mission Impossible 2, I'd slap you around and call you Susan, but shyt happens.
Yea me too, I'm willing to give them all shots, but Platinum Dunes, which is the Michael Bay company that makes all these remakes and reboots, is just the worst shyt ever...you add in Liebesman, who made some really awful stuff (not even so bad its good stuff, but just unwatchable trash), then its gonna take some really great reviews from around the world to get me to see it...Just look at Liebesman's filmography as a director :lebronyuk:Unfortunately I've seen many of his films and every single one is :yourthreadistrash:
Idk breh I fukk with their Texas chainsaw and Friday the 13th. Not the Texas chainsaw prequel but the remake. The only bad ones in my eyes are the the hitcher remake, nightmare and that prequel

Yup. I'm done with this movie on all levels. The fact that they are making Shedder into a shady American businessman IS ridiculous. All the costumes/designs from the trailers, imo, have been awful. Megan Fox as April. The transfomers-esque feel to it. Nah brehs, this movie is finna be a clusterfukk.

Well I was Scared when they 1st Announced it but I'm a HUGE TMNT Fan so I pretty much will be seeing this regardless, I just hope it's not too Corny. I remember when I was a Kid, I used to watch TMNT over Transformers like it was Religion because I used to hate on Transformers but Bay actually made me like them with the 3 Movies that are already out now and the 1 I'm going to see in a Week. I still can't figure out why Knoxville is Voicing for Leonardo, he seems more like a Michelangelo Type to me.
No I'm going to see the movie lol I'm saying I don't want to see Beebop and Rocksteady at all. AT ALL. The only issue I have with this movie is the designs of the turtles because they just look weird as fukk but other than that I'm down

...but Breh, if those Nimrods were On Screen being Stupid and Big & Clumsy like they were in the Cartoons, I just think they would be Good. I guess that's just my Vision but maybe they won't be involved at all seeing as it's not even the REAL Shredder.
You probably right but as much as my inner child is going to hate me saying this I can't stomach a lot from that cartoon anymore. I also get I'm not supposed to because it's not made for me now it was made for me then so it's just a preference thing. Gimme that 03 turtles cartoon any day of the week

Breh you speak the truth. I mean you're already turning your brain off with the premise of mutant turtles who know karate and are trained by a walking talking rat. And I know that they're importing a lot of stuff from the 87 cartoon because the fan base craves it i.e., April's jacket, Vernon, even her Chief from the show although its now played by Whoopi. We can cry all we want about Bay ruining this and how the film will be trash but truth be told, the turtles were ruined the second they showed up on CBS Saturday morning cartoons because they were so far removed from the source material. If that happened now? Nikkas would be outraged and crying foul and saying how they're making turtles for babies and the kiddies. It's all an adaptation of a 30 year old source material and the closest any adaptation has come to that is the first movie and the 03 cartoon. May as well go with the flow and enjoy what you can. I know the internet pre-hated the new cartoon but I fukk with it. I'm giving this the same chance I gave that

Personally, I was surprised at how the turtles looked but it was a good surprise for me. I thought people would share in that feeling but I thought wrong
They look distinct enough from each other and actually like mutated turtles or something that's unnatural but you know its source. The one thing I'm worried about is the personalities.
Oh and the fact that it's probably gonna be about Megan Fox or William Fichtner. I love that dude but I'm pretty sure people want the turtles to be the focus. Such a weird sentence to type.
