Maybe we'll finally get that battle between Super Shredder and the Turtles that we were robbed of in TMNT 2.

the funny thing is the turtles movie was more the dark knight before the dark knight
it took a campy cartoon, which was completely ridiculous, and made it work in a real life setting

fast foward to now, this shyt looks more like a cartoon than a movie, that shredder is ridiculous

If so where did the decision to change them from the super serious comics version with one one color headband that you say the movie was based off of to the less serious, mutiple colors turtles that we saw in the movies come from?

Yeah the 2nd and 3rd came into development during the cartoon and that's why they're goofier. Design is meh tho lol

They got the input from what was going on on one side but the movie was in development before Eastman and Laird made the deal with Mirage and CBS to produce the show. So obviously some things could bleed over but the movie was getting made first
